iPlena
Posture assessment through photo analysis, personalized feedback, and guided exercise programs.
Full-stack work on a posture health app: PhysioScan photo analysis, patient dashboards, and AI-driven exercise recommendations.

iPlena helps people improve their posture through a mobile health app. Users take multi-angle photos via PhysioScan, receive AI-generated posture scores and imbalance indicators, then get customized exercise routines on a patient dashboard. The product sits in a privacy-sensitive healthcare space where uploads, analysis, and recommendations all need to work reliably.
As Senior Software Engineer, I worked across the full stack — translating client requirements into technical specs, building user-facing flows and backend services, integrating AI for photo and document analysis, and mentoring two junior developers.
- Built the multi-angle photo upload pipeline that feeds PhysioScan analysis.
- Developed the patient dashboard showing posture scores, AI summaries, and imbalance indicators.
- Created posture scanner result screens with skeletal overlay visualizations across camera angles.
- Integrated AI services for analyzing uploaded photos and PDF documents.
- Designed backend services for exercise recommendations, progress tracking, and secure data handling.
- Ran sprint planning, code reviews, deployments, and direct client communication on requirements.
- Mentored two junior developers on implementation patterns and delivery workflows.
Users could complete a full posture assessment — scan, review results, and receive recommendations — in a single coherent workflow. AI integration remained stable across releases, and client requirements moved from specification documents into shipped features without losing clinical intent.
