Trustie App

Trustie is a consumer fintech app that acts as an AI money mentor — users ask questions like budgeting rules and get conversational guidance through a chat interface. The product was moving quickly from concept to release, and the frontend needed to feel polished, responsive, and dependable before launch.

As Senior Frontend Developer, I owned turning product requirements and design flows into working features — from the AI chat screen and about page through to the component patterns the rest of the app would build on.

• Built the AI chat interface with conversation layout, message input, and responsive behavior across screen sizes.
• Implemented the about and product storytelling pages that explain Trustie's value to new users.
• Introduced reusable component patterns so new features could ship without reinventing layout or styling each time.
• Structured state management for chat sessions, loading states, and API-driven data flows.
• Integrated frontend workflows with backend services and refined error handling for unreliable network conditions.
• Worked with product, design, backend, and QA to review flows before each release.

Core user flows — landing, chat, and about — shipped as production-ready, responsive experiences. Releases became more predictable because the frontend had shared patterns and clearer integration boundaries with the backend.
